Location: Chelsea, NYC
Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite 2–3 days per week)
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our Platform Backend Services Team
. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, cloud expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build scalable and secure backend solutions using Java and/or Node.js
• Work with SQL and No
  
  SQL databases to design efficient data models
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker
• Integrate backend services with AWS SDKs and cloud services
• Collaborate with frontend, platform, and Dev Ops teams
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability

• Strong backend development experience in Java and/or Node.js

• Strong experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience integrating services using AWS SDK
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, etc.)
• Experience integrating Generative AI models into backend systems
• Familiarity with cloud‑native and microservices architecture
