Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or Type Script).
- Experience with experimentation and analysis.
- Experience with advertising products and quality work within ads.
- Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally. The team's mission is to be the primary source of contextual automated insights and recommendations for all advertisers to help them achieve their advertising and business goals. Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.
We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to You Tube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead the design, development, and launch of high-quality, scalable applications that empower advertisers.
- Create AI-powered experiences that help advertisers grow their business on Google Ads and accelerate the evolution of the platform.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the team's strategic direction and technical roadmap. You will be responsible for identifying and leading new opportunities to innovate and solve challenges for advertisers.
- Guide and grow a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment, mentoring team members in their professional development, and empowering them to achieve their best work.
