Senior Software Engineer, Android About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Android to take full ownership of a high-traffic Android application and elevate it to best-in-class performance and feature completeness. This role will focus on bringing the Android experience to parity with iOS while continuing to enhance speed, polish, and usability for over one million monthly users.

You will serve as a key individual contributor, shaping the Android roadmap and driving execution from concept through release.

• Define and lead the strategy to bring the Android application to feature parity with iOS

• Build polished, high-performance user experiences across the Android app

• Own end-to-end feature development, from product ideation through deployment and iteration

• Partner closely with founders, product leaders, and designers to translate vision into shipped product

• Architect scalable, reusable patterns to accelerate development velocity and maintain code quality

• Contribute to weekly releases and maintain a high bar for engineering excellence

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience

• Significant experience building and shipping Android applications at scale

• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Experience with modern Android architecture and dependency injection frameworks

• Strong product instincts and a passion for building user-centric mobile experiences
