Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Overview We are seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to partner directly with customers to solve their most complex and high-impact problems. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and end users to design, build, and deploy production-grade applications that drive measurable outcomes. You will embed with customer teams, understand mission-critical objectives, and translate ambiguous requirements into operational software workflows powered by enterprise data.

This role goes beyond shipping features — you will help transform how organizations operate by putting powerful tools in the hands of decision-makers and frontline operators. What You’ll Do Partner directly with customers to understand their highest-value problems and translate them into technical solutions Design, architect, and deploy end-to-end applications using enterprise data Build operationalized workflows that users rely on to drive real-world change Iterate rapidly from prototype to production, incorporating direct user feedback Own solutions from initial concept through long-term production support Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer teams Travel as needed (approximately 10–33%) to support client implementations What We’re Looking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into executable solutions Proven experience building production-grade applications from ambiguous or evolving requirements Proficiency in Python and/or Type Script Demonstrated ability to work with large structured and unstructured datasets in production environments Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through software, analytics, or data-driven products Ability to operate autonomously and take full ownership of outcomes Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Willingness to work in a hybrid, in-person environment (New York) and onsite with customers

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field Experience delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions Experience building frontend applications in React

Experience with Spark or distributed compute environments Familiarity with enterprise data platforms or AI-driven workflow tools
