Teams hiring on Growth Consumer Growth

The Consumer Growth team shapes how millions of people experience Perplexity across web and mobile. We rapidly experiment and launch new ideas across all user‑facing surfaces including onboarding, verticals like Students, and premium Max Tier. The team builds AI‑powered features such as personalized prompts, auto‑generated study guides, and contextual upsell nudges that drive user activation, retention, and revenue. We also own Perplexity's growth platform—experimentation framework, feature flagging, and notifications—so we can mobilize high‑leverage features quickly and safely.

Enterprise

Growth

The Enterprise Growth team builds the core platform capabilities that make Perplexity a secure, reliable, and adoption‑driving product for enterprise customers. The team owns end‑to‑end experiences across enterprise authentication (SSO, SCIM, RBAC), org creation and onboarding (white‑glove and self‑serve flows, invitations, discovery of existing orgs), and admin control and visibility. This includes feature, model, and connector controls, Comet controls, audit logs, usage analytics, and growth‑related upsell surfaces that help enterprises deploy Perplexity confidently at scale and realize measurable business impact.

Commerce

Growth

The Commerce Growth team sits at the intersection of user experience and revenue infrastructure. The team owns the full commerce stack—payments, billing, and emerging monetization opportunities—across consumer subscriptions, enterprise plans, API usage (Sonar), and premium features. We develop and maintain secure, scalable systems that support agentic payments and automated financial workflows, ensuring reliable transactions for millions of users worldwide while enabling new growth and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and scale new 0→1 growth products and features across web and mobile.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Data to define hypotheses, ship experiments, and iterate quickly based on results.
  • Launch new features, experiments, campaigns, and partnerships in a fast‑moving environment, balancing speed with quality.
  • Build and evolve core growth infrastructure such as experimentation frameworks, notification systems, attribution pipelines, and growth‑oriented APIs.
  • Instrument, monitor, and analyze performance metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for activation, retention, and monetization improvements.
  • Craft delightful, data‑proven user journeys that showcase the power of Perplexity while driving measurable business impact.
Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack (backend, APIs, and modern web frontends).
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous, high‑impact projects end to end.
  • Solid quantitative skills and a strong understanding of experimentation, metrics, and data analysis.
  • Experience making data‑driven decisions and measuring impact (A/B testing, feature flags, cohort analysis, and ad‑hoc analysis).
  • A passion for shipping high‑quality products that move key growth metrics and delight users.
  • 4+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably with exposure to growth, product, or experimentation‑heavy environments.
