Location: New York
We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer with strong cross-platform mobile development experience using Swift
. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain modern mobile applications, working closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. You will contribute to both native iOS functionality and shared cross-platform codebases, helping create scalable, performant, and maintainable applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications for iOS using Flutter and Dart, leveraging a shared codebase across platforms.
- Implement native iOS functionality using Swift when platform-specific capabilities are required.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, build, and release new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM).
- Troubleshoot defects, debug issues, and optimize application performance and responsiveness.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure reliability, stability, and quality.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and platform services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Stay current with evolving mobile technologies, frameworks, and development trends.
- Proficiency with native iOS development using Swift and Apple development tools (Xcode, Swift
UI, and/or UIKit). - Experience with Flutter state management approaches (e.g., Provider, BLoC, Riverpod, or similar).
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration and third-party libraries.
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues and implement optimizations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience publishing or maintaining applications in the Apple App Store.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
