We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join the engineering team to help Bitwise scale and our clients succeed. As Bitwise’s next Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you'll be able to have a major impact from day one, within our small, yet quickly growing business. The products and systems you build will touch all parts of the organization and will give you the opportunity to understand our business deeply, which is rare.

• Evolve our frontend architecture. Take ownership in our React/Next.js and Type Script codebase, ensuring it remains maintainable, scalable, and performant. You'll implement best practices and architectural patterns that help our systems grow with the business.
• Lead critical frontend migrations. Spearhead transitions from legacy React codebases and Next Pages router to App router, establishing patterns and practices while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Drive engineering excellence. Continuously improve our processes, tools, and systems to scale both our codebase and team productivity. You'll participate in code reviews and help establish quality standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders. Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable frontend solutions. You'll own projects end-to-end while aligning stakeholders to common goals and driving to finished outputs.
• Build zero to one client experiences collaborating across the organization to define, create, and launch new products.
• Lead the rebuild of our investor onboarding and client portal - building a new experience from the ground up working directly with stakeholders to create a best in class product.

• 5+ years of React/Next.js and Type Script frontend development experience
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to lead projects while aligning stakeholders
• Fast‑moving with a bias for impact and willingness to advocate for your work
• Desire to learn and grow skills across frontend and backend
