About the Role
We are looking for a UI engineer to join our team and help build Kestrel, the next generation of Crowd Strike's platform. This is an exciting opportunity to create engaging, data-driven experiences that help our customers 'Stop the Breach' by unifying data across security domains, streamlining access to critical security information, and enabling users to personalize their experience by role. You ll work closely with product design and UI engineering teams to build intuitive interfaces that help users visualize patterns and navigate threats in their environment.

WhatYou ll Do
- Take ownership of the delivery of our products, driving the technical aspects, helping the team define the architecture and coordinating with stakeholders on scope and priorities.
- Execute on the technical strategy for the front-end engineering architecture with flexibility, scalability, security and performance in mind.
- Design, build, and maintain a single-page application framework.
- Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of fellow UI engineers.
- Leverage your technical expertise to help the team make sound decisions around engineering, product design and direction.
- Take initiative and build tools to improve your team s development experience.
- Ensure code quality by writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as UX designers, QA engineers, Product Managers, Data/API engineers, and others.
- Continually learn about the evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry as well as front-end engineering.
- Expert knowledge of latest web standards and front-end engineering tools (HTML, CSS, Java script, RESTful API, Graph
QL, Typescript, Ember CLI, Node/NPM, Webpack, Responsive UI). - Experience in building user-centric and scalable UI design systems using atomic design principles.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies and end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS products.
- Experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices, tools and techniques such as keyboard navigation, screen readers and WCAG guidelines.
- Experience with internationalization (i18n).
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, Vue, Lit or similar.
- Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind.
- Experience with front-end data-mocking services and tools.
- Experience with data fetching and state management libraries.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools for solving build issues and improving build time.
- B.S. Degree in a related field.
- Good collaboration and communication skills in verbal and written formats.
- Be an advocate for UX consistency, accessibility and empathy for the end user.
- Experience working with full-featured data grid libraries such as AG Grid or others to build highly interactive, data-intensive UIs.
- Experience with Web components.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience with using and contributing to Open Source Libraries.
