Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Application Developer to join an innovative international law firm client in NY. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of core applications used throughout the firm, including client-facing systems, reporting platforms, workflow tools, and firm-wide operational applications. This role will involve hands‑on full‑stack development, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ownership of high-impact application components.

The Sr. Application Developer is expected to have strong experience in Microsoft development technologies, modern web frameworks, and enterprise application design. Additional technical expertise includes C#, .NET, SQL Server, Angular, related enterprise frameworks, along with practical experience using cloud services (Azure) and SharePoint integrations, and familiarity with using LLM‑based tools for safe, internal developer productivity.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, Web API, and SQL Server.
• Create and support interactive front‑end interfaces using Angular (up to v20), Type Script, JavaScript, and responsive UI frameworks.
• Design and optimize SQL objects including stored procedures, views, functions, and high-performance queries.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services integrating internal and external systems.
• Implement modern development practices including dependency injection, clean architecture principles, and unit testing.
• Support and extend SharePoint solutions including lists, document libraries, and custom integrations.
• Work with Azure services such as Azure SQL, App Services, Storage, and Entra-based authentication.
• Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews, and solution architecture discussions.
• Apply internal LLM‑assisted development tools for documentation, refactoring support, and workflow acceleration (non‑AI product development).
• Provide troubleshooting and production support for mission-critical firm applications.
• Collaborate directly with attorneys, project managers, QA staff, and other developers on application requirements and delivery.

This is a full‑time position that can sit fully remote in the US (preferably in EST time zone).

$150k-$170k base salary

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience as a full stack software developer utilizing most current tech‑stack at a tech‑forward organization
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions; experience working with client-facing technologies and with Azure (Azure SQL, App Services, Storage)
• Strong foundation with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web API, REST, and service-oriented development
• Solid expertise in SQL Server (stored procedures & functions, views, query tuning, and schema design)
• Front-end development experience with Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core or similar ORM tools;
  Experience building or supporting SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2019 components
  • Familiarity with iManage, DMS systems, or attorney productivity workflows
• Exposure to LLM-based development tooling (for coding assistance and documentation generation)
• Experience building applications using Blazor, WCF, or older .NET technologies
• Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or Microsoft Entra
