Job Description

Capgemini is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java and related technologies. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing robust, cloud‑native microservices and scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based back‑end services using J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, and database design.
Implement front‑end features using JavaScript, Type Script, Angular, CSS, and modern UI frameworks.
Architect microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud‑based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance: JVM tuning, profiling, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues with analytical problem‑solving skills.
Apply Dev Ops practices: CI/CD pipelines, continuous integration and deployment.
Use containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deployment and cluster management.
Architect messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit

MQ) for building scalable, resilient applications.
Apply security best practices: secure coding, authentication, authorization, and security principles.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC, and related technologies.
Experience with front‑end technologies:
JavaScript, Type Script, Angular, CSS.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CICD pipelines.
Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit

MQ).
Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $90,000 to $95,000.
