• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in Objective‑C or Swift.
• 5 years of experience programming in C++.
• 3 years of experience with iOS application development.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools or debugging.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in either Swift or Objective‑C is necessary, provided you are willing to learn the other and work across both where necessary.
• Experience with iOS multiple concurrency systems (e.g., Swift Concurrency, Actors, Publishers, GCD, NS Operations) and managing multithreaded code.
• Familiar debugging performance related issues with tooling like Instruments and integrating support for tracing through client code.

The iOS Google Search App Platform Team is responsible for supporting the core app level infrastructure used by engineers and partners to build features in Search. We have wide latitude to propose changes, own pieces of the app infrastructure, and drive adoption of new tooling, Application Programming Interfaces, and systems. We focus on improving User Trust through features such as Incognito and Autofill.

You will have an opportunity to work on platform level integrations to support the entire iOS Google App for compliance purposes.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
