Member of Technical Staff – ML and Applied AI

New York City, Five Days Onsite

Base Salary 200,000 to 300,000 plus equity

This is a rare opportunity to join a hyper‑growth AI business at the centre of one of the largest underserved markets. You will work on complex, high‑impact ML and agentic AI challenges, build production systems end to end, and shape brand‑new products from day one.

They are a fast‑scaling AI organisation building advanced agentic systems that automate real, high-volume workflows. Backed by significant recent investment, they have already achieved strong product adoption and are expanding rapidly. Their platform combines cutting‑edge ML, experimentation frameworks, and multi‑agent systems to deliver safe, accurate, production‑ready intelligence. The environment is collaborative, hands‑on, and engineering‑led, with the freedom to explore new approaches and technologies.

You will join as a core individual contributor working across ML engineering, applied AI, and system design. Your focus will be on intelligent automation and agent behaviour across real‑world accounting workflows.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and iterating multi‑agent architectures for production use.
• Building evaluation and experimentation frameworks for large‑scale testing.
• Engineering context, retrieval, and memory systems for agent reasoning.
• Developing production‑level Python code that ships directly into the product.
• Owning projects end to end, from scoping through to delivery.
• Collaborating closely with engineering leadership and cross‑functional teams in an onsite environment.

• Strong capability in ML engineering, applied AI, or research‑oriented AI development.
• Commercial experience deploying and iterating on multi‑agent, ML, or LLM‑driven systems.
• Proficiency in Python and building robust production software.
• Ability to design experiments, evaluate models, and develop scalable frameworks.
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑ownership environments such as hedge funds, fintechs, or scaling startups.
• A background in Computer Science, ML, AI, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Base salary between 200,000 and 300,000 plus equity.
