Baton Corporation is the development company that builds and operates the entire technology stack behind pump.fun, the largest memecoin launchpad in production today. The systems are low latency, high throughput, live under constant load, and break if you get them wrong.

As a Senior Staff React Native Engineer, you’ll remain deeply hands-on while shaping the technical direction of our mobile platform. You’ll take ownership of the hardest problems, influence architectural decisions, and elevate the engineers around you — all while continuing to ship production code at a high velocity.

• Lead by example through high-impact code contributions across critical areas of the mobile stack
• Own the most complex technical initiatives, from architecture design to production deployment
• Set technical direction for mobile architecture while remaining deeply involved in implementation
• Establish and evolve patterns for performance, reliability, and security in a crypto-native environment
• Optimise for speed, efficiency, and scalability, creating a seamless bridge between blockchain interactions and mobile-first design
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs, real-time data streams, and decentralised technologies
• Iterate quickly—shipping features, gathering feedback, and refining the mobile experience to drive engagement and retention
• Solve complex technical challenges related to crypto wallets, smart contract interactions, and real-time data updates
• Maintain a clean, modular, and scalable codebase while pushing the boundaries of mobile development
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product leaders to shape the future of our mobile platform

• 8–12+ years of engineering experience, with deep expertise in React Native and mobile architecture
• Proven track record of owning and shipping large, technically complex systems end-to-end
• Comfortable operating as the technical anchor for a product area while remaining fully hands-on
• Strong architectural instincts, but biased toward pragmatic execution
• Able to influence technical direction through clarity of thinking and strength of implementation
• Experienced in high-growth environments where you’ve helped systems evolve under rapid scale
• Naturally raises the bar for code quality, performance, and engineering standards around you
