Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and Design: Lead the design of reference architectures and applications across multiple cloud patterns, such as message-driven systems, web applications, and batch processing.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Customization and Flexibility: Develop solutions that support flexibility and customization for advanced users.
  • Infrastructure Provisioning: Enable rapid provisioning of cloud infrastructure within 10 minutes, ensuring compliance and auditability.
  • Decommissioning: Create processes for repeatable and reliable infrastructure decommissioning.
  • Ephemeral Environments: Develop short-lived environments for testing and demos.
  • Cost Management: Implement transparent cost management solutions for teams.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams for seamless cloud service integration.
    • Required Skills
    • Experience with AWS services and architecture.
    • Proficiency in Golang for building Terraform modules, cloud-native applications, and infrastructure components.
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
    • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts.
    • Experience with Docker for containerization.
    • Strong background in automated testing and TDD.
    • Ability to create detailed end-user documentation.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
    You May Be a Fit If
    • Have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
    • Led the design and development of cloud-native applications in Go.
    • Extensive experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting setups.
    • Proven track record of mentoring engineers.
    • Build effective relationships and trust across teams.
