AboutThe Role
We’re looking for experienced full‑stack engineers with strong fundamentals to join one of our product engineering teams. You will be a technical leader who thinks holistically about the consumer and or enterprise end‑user experience – via Claude.ai, the Anthropic API, enterprise deployments, Claude Code, or mission‑driven applications – and carry real end‑to‑end ownership.
You will partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, and researchers to understand new model capabilities and redefine what is possible for users in LLMs. You’ll bring a product‑oriented mindset, own technical quality across the stack and scale to millions of users globally.
What You’ll Do Developer ExperienceYou’ll build products and tools – consoles, SDKs, docs, observability – that give developers confidence to rely on Claude. You’ll build trust through great platform fundamentals and inspire developers to raise the bar in how they use Claude’s capabilities.
Beneficial DeploymentsBuild full‑stack solutions in access programs, tooling, and product work that make frontier AI usable for teams that couldn’t afford this capacity otherwise.
Enterprise AI ProductsWork on products that make Claude a daily‑use tool for enterprise customers. Address adoption gaps and build capabilities such as:
- Extensibility – plugins, skills, connectors, and the MCP ecosystem.
- Context – enterprise knowledge, organizational memory, and retrieval layer.
- Proactivity – workplace suggestions, workflow capture, ambient Claude inside existing apps.
Purpose‑built experiences for specific industries:
- Financial Services – retrieval, analysis, and document generation for analysts and bankers.
- Healthcare – clinical documentation, prior auth, and care coordination.
- Legal – contract analysis, document review, and matter management.
Build systems required for large‑scale adoption – identity & permissions, security & compliance controls, admin analytics.
GrowthDrive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization through data‑driven strategies and technical implementations. Shape growth strategy alongside marketers, product managers, and data scientists.
You Might Be a Good Fit If- Have 8‑10+ years of practical full‑stack engineering experience, ideally 2+ years at Staff or equivalent technical leadership.
- Have led design and delivery of complex consumer or B2B user‑facing products across the full stack.
- Are a technical expert in modern frontend and backend development, e.g., React, Type Script.
- Take a product‑focused approach to building robust, scalable, easy‑to‑use solutions.
- Have worked in fast‑moving, rapidly evolving environments and built products from 0 to 1.
- Mentor peers and invest in their growth.
- Drive cross‑team alignment and ship impactful work with influence over authority.
- Establish engineering standards, component architectures, and best practices.
- Navigate ambiguity to deliver high‑quality products.
- Have experience with React and frontend frameworks.
- Have experience with REST APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or building AI‑native product features.
- Experience building developer‑facing products, APIs, or tooling.
- Prior work on growth, activation, or experimentation – A/B testing, funnel analysis.
- Domain depth in regulated or mission‑critical contexts: enterprise, healthcare, legal, financial services or accessibility‑focused products.
Annual Salary: $405,000—$485,000 USD. Location Preference: NY, NJ, SEA, SF or the Bay Area.
