Location: New York
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in web and mobile automation testing
, API testing, and accessibility (ADA) compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Selenium, Appium, and modern API testing tools, along with a solid understanding of Agile practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
- Perform UI and API testing using Selenium Web Driver and related tools
- Execute mobile automation testing using Appium on Android and iOS platforms (Web, Native, Hybrid apps)
- Conduct web services testing (SOAP & REST APIs) using tools like Postman, JMeter, and others
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment
- Perform manual and regression testing as needed
- Ensure code quality using version control tools like Git Hub/Bitbucket
- Track and manage defects using Jira
- Analyze logs and monitor performance using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
- 8+ years of experience in Selenium Web Driver & Selenium Grid
- Strong experience in Java (Java
8) for automation - Expertise in Web Application Automation (HTML, CSS, Angular JS)
- Hands‑on experience in API Testing (REST & SOAP) with JSON/XML payloads
- Experience in Mobile Testing using Appium (Android & iOS)
- Strong knowledge of Manual, Regression, UI & API Testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Proficiency with Git Hub/Bitbucket
- Experience using Jira for test management and defect tracking
- Experience in ADA/Accessibility Testing using tools like NVDA/JAWS
- Knowledge of Axe accessibility tool
- Experience with Karate/Cucumber frameworks for API testing
- Exposure to Spring, Jersey Client, Jackson, JAXB for web services automation
- Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace
- Experience in Banking/Financial domain
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
