Sr. Backend Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help modernize and scale a growing platform used to power complex business operations and customer-facing workflows.

This is a hands‑on senior IC role for someone who enjoys building reliable backend systems, improving architecture over time, and working closely with product and business stakeholders to solve real operational problems.

You’ll have significant ownership over system design, API development, technical direction, and engineering standards across multiple services and integrations.

• Design and build backend services and APIs in Python and/or Type Script
• Help evolve legacy systems into scalable service‑oriented architectures
• Build integrations with internal and third‑party platforms
• Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability
• Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into practical engineering solutions
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and mentor other engineers
• Drive engineering best practices around testing, CI/CD, deployment, and maintainability
• Help shape long‑term platform and infrastructure decisions

You do not need experience with every technology listed.
