Full Stack Developer

Location: New York

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in New York, NY
.

Our client's Institutional Lending Tech team needs an experienced full stack developer to help build leading-edge and scalable systems to support multiple business verticals supporting origination, underwriting, asset management, business operations, market insights, loan pricing, and risk calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.
• Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.
• Actively contribute to agile squad ceremonies and practices.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activities

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of a proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services
• 5+ years of a proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTML
• Strong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, Mongo
  
  DB, or similar)
• Experience in OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience in working with modern code IDEs such as Intelli
  
  J or VS Code
• Hands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Amp, or similar)
• Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, Mongo
  
  DB or similar)
• Fluent in English with Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
