Senior Front-End Developer (Angular/UI Engineering)

A leading global financial services organization is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join its Equities Engineering team supporting enterprise trading platforms and front-office applications. This is a highly visible, hands‑on Angular/UI engineering role focused on building modern, scalable, high-performance user interfaces for real‑time trading and order flow visualization.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular development, enterprise UI architecture, and front‑office application delivery within fast‑paced environments. This role requires strong collaboration with Product teams, traders, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to design intuitive, secure, and scalable user experiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade front‑end applications supporting trading and operational workflows
• Build modern, high‑performance dashboards and UI portals for real‑time trading and order flow visualization
• Develop intuitive, scalable, and secure user experiences with a strong focus on usability and performance
• Integrate front‑end applications with backend REST APIs, Web Sockets, and messaging frameworks
• Support modernization initiatives involving microservices, cloud‑based architecture, and AI‑assisted development tools
• Collaborate closely with Product, Business, Trading, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and SDLC best practices
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and UI design consistency
• Troubleshoot production issues and support mission‑critical trading applications in high‑pressure environments
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across development and operational practices

• 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Front‑End/UI engineering
• Advanced experience with:
  • Angular
  • Type Script / Java Script
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • jQuery
• Strong experience building enterprise UI platforms and scalable front‑end architectures
• Experience designing real‑time dashboards and data visualization interfaces
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Web Services integration
• Experience working with Web Sockets and real‑time messaging/event‑driven architectures
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Dev Ops practices
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as:
  • Karma
  • Jasmine
  • JUnit
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as:

  • Similar AI coding assistants

• Experience with in financial services, capital markets, or trading environments
• Exposure to Equities trading platforms and trade lifecycle workflows

• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as:
