Build advanced AI platforms streamlining highly complex, enterprise-grade procurement contracts for the defense and healthcare sectors.

Focus on ground-up engineering over legacy corporate processes.

• You are a Builder, not a Maintainer: This is a pure software engineering role focused on foundational architecture, actively avoiding traditional "lights-on" Dev Ops duties.
• Zero Red Tape: There are no massive SRE teams to hand off to or legacy runbooks to follow—you own what you ship from end to end.
• Direct Impact: Work directly with the CTO to solve complex scaling problems across serverless runtimes, edge computing, and highly secure deployments.

A technical, hands-on position where you will:

• Architect high-performance backend services using Type Script or Python, moving beyond standard application code into core infrastructure.
• Scale containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and high-compliance edge networks (Cloudflare) from scratch.
• Optimize a robust data platform, managing Postgres with logical replication alongside S3 and R2 object storage.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and runtime frameworks to accelerate broader product delivery.

• 5+ years of dedicated backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering, specifically building tools that other developers ship on.
• Deep production coding experience in Type Script or Python, demonstrating a "software-first" approach to infrastructure.
• Proven expertise scaling Docker and Kubernetes in live, high-stakes environments.
• Strong architectural grasp of Postgres, scalable data modeling, and modern observability stacks (e.g. Open Telemetry).
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (Green Cards iok).

• Previous experience as a founding engineer, demonstrating heavy ownership over core product builds.
• Familiarity with strictly secure compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC).
