Engineer, Accounting Technology (New York, NY)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain accounting and profit and loss (P&L) systems for commodity trading desks, supporting end-to-end trade flow, position tracking, and daily P&L calculations.
- Build distributed, service-oriented applications using C#, .NET Core, and Web Api to integrate trade capture systems with accounting platforms.
- Apply multi-threaded programming, object-oriented design, REST, Web Api, JSON, Agile development processes and sprint planning.
- Work with database systems, Dev Ops tools including JIRA, Git, build automation, deployment automation, and unit testing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming, object-oriented design, and RESTful services.
- Experience with database systems and Dev Ops practices.
Salary Range: $-$/yr.
