FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEER
We are a next‑generation AI research and product company building an infrastructure for autonomous AI systems that deliver real‑world outcomes across industries.
About the TeamThe Forward Deployed Team ensures successful implementation of our agents, automating and optimizing tasks for customers, and shaping product vision based on field learnings.
Key Responsibilities- Identify customers’ most impactful multi‑step tasks to automate.
- Integrate with customer systems, including databases, third‑party APIs, and internal tools.
- Rapidly iterate in the field to improve product fit and deliver solutions.
- Architect, build, and maintain production‑grade services that scale with usage and complexity.
- Collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to shape the roadmap and align priorities.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fast‑paced environments.
- Experience working with AI/ML systems and integrating LLMs or other agentic workflows into real products.
- Fluency in at least one backend language (Python, Go, Node.js, Java) and English.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue) and good sense of UI/UX tradeoffs.
- Experience building and deploying production systems – APIs, services, infrastructure, and/or data pipelines.
- Proficiency in integrating third‑party APIs, databases, and external systems securely and reliably.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous, customer‑facing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bias for action – able to ship quickly, iterate fast, and own the full lifecycle of solutions.
- Willingness to travel for on‑site deployments or customer engagements.
Teams are distributed across France, the UK, and the US. This role will be based in Paris, France, or Remote, US.
What We Offer- Base salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 based on experience.
