Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to determine the optimal implementation approach, including declarative vs. programmatic solutions vs. App Exchange products.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected technical solutions.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-deployment support.
- Ensure solutions are highly secure, optimized for performance, and built to scale.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura/LWC), Salesforce APIs, and integrations.
- Experience developing and executing data migrations and working with Salesforce data models.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tools such as Git, Copado, or similar.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with Service Cloud and/or Energy & Utilities Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management best practices.
- Familiarity with data migration and integration tools such as Data Loader, Mule Soft, or similar.
