The Opportunity

We’re looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team! You’ll be instrumental in building and deploying machine learning models that power the Abridge experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design,develop,and implement high-quality machine learning applications and tools
• Lead technical projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to bring AI algorithms to life
• Work with various teams to optimize our systems
• Build reusable software to accelerate development
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance
• Design fault-tolerant,scalable,and secure AI systems

You’re a Perfect Fit If You Have

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering,Statistics,Math (or equivalent)
• Experience building production-ready software (Python,C++,Java)
• Strong software engineering practices (coding standards,code reviews,etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Kubernetes,Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience designing and building highly available ML systems
• Solid understanding of low-level operating systems concepts
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Bonus Points for

• Experience in NLP,machine learning,or distributed systems
• Expertise in machine learning tool chains (PyTorch,Tensor Flow)
• Experience bringing new technology to production
