Senior Software Engineer; Frontend - Foodics

The Senior front‑end Engineer must be heavily experienced in Front‑end development and in VueJS specifically. Primarily, you will be working on building client‑facing components and SPAs, ensuring high quality, clean and maintainable code. This is a fast‑moving engineering role where you will be working with the finest Engineering teams in the region, on Foodics' core products. You'll be developing and designing your allocated tasks from scratch.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
• Manage cutting‑edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
• Collaborate with Front‑end developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Follow emerging technologies.
• Professionally document all your coding work.
• Use markup languages like HTML to create user‑friendly web pages
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile‑based features
• Collaborate with back‑end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Get feedback from and build solutions for users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back‑end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high‑quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging technologies

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a Front‑end developer.
• Highly proficient with JavaScript and its modern ES6+ syntax and features.
• 4+ years of experience with Vue Js and its ecosystem (Vue Router, Vuex, etc…).
• Experience working with webpack or other module bundlers.
• Good understanding of asynchronous code.
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, Tailwind
  
  CSS knowledge is a big plus.
• Ability to write efficient, secure, well‑documented, and clean JavaScript code.
• Comfortable working with version control tools such as Git, SVN etc.
• Experience with TDD and writing unit tests.
• Good leadership skills.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Saudi citizen is a must.

• Front‑end Experts with a very special passion to Vue.
  
  JS Framework.
• Proven background on Fintechs and Foodtechs is a plus.
