About the Company:Our client, a leading fintech company based in New York, specializes in providing innovative pricing and risk management services and tooling. They are seeking a highly skilled Lead RAD (Rapid Application Development) Developer to join their team and drive the creation of cutting-edge solutions that enhance their operational capabilities.

Position Summary:As the Lead RAD Developer, you will manage a team of up to five developers, dedicating 50% of your time to hands-on development and 50% to support and team management. You will be instrumental in making technical decisions to enhance risk generation solutions, transition legacy Excel-based tools to modern platforms, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code across various programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers in New York, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Allocate your time equally between hands-on development (50%) and team management/support (50%).
• Make informed technical decisions to design and improve solutions for risk generation.
• Develop and implement modern solutions to replace legacy Excel-based tools.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as C#, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a lead developer or similar role, with a strong background in managing development teams.
• Expertise in risk management and pricing within the fintech industry.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
