We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SDET Engineer to join our QA and Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications across web services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation testing, programming, CI/CD processes, and modern testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Web, API, and backend applications.
Design scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify test scenarios.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
Analyze test results, log defects, and track issues to closure.
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
Ensure application quality, stability, and performance.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience in automation tools such as:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cypress
Strong programming knowledge in:
- Java
- JavaScript/Type Script
- Python
Experience with API automation using:
- Postman
- Rest Assured
Knowledge of CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- Git Hub Actions
Experience with version control tools:
- Git
Basic SQL/database testing knowledge.
Understanding of performance testing tools such as:
- Apache JMeter

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is a plus.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience

2+ years to 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET role.

Nice to Have

BDD frameworks:
- Cucumber
- TestNG
Mobile automation knowledge using:
- Appium
Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools.
