*** Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Drive end-to-end delivery of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical roadmaps
* Partner with Product Management, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and delivery timelines
* Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable, high-quality applications
* Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation
* Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and performance, including hiring and development of team members
* Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing technical and delivery challenges
* Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
* Drive process improvements to enhance team efficiency, delivery speed, and product quality
** What You Will Bring
*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity
* Strong hands-on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar)
* Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level, scalable applications
* Experience building and scaling technology platforms within the fund of hedge funds or alternative investments space strongly preferred
* Strong domain expertise in investment systems, risk platforms, data architecture, and workflow automation
* Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and platform scalability within investment management environments
* Professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA are highly desirable
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines preferred
* Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and software engineering principles
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to balance technical contributions with people leadership responsibilities
* Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
