Lead Software Architect - Salesforce

What You Will Do

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of a customer-facing platform used by external users
• Build and optimize integrations between Salesforce, Azure, APIs, databases, and front-end experiences
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for regulated financial services environments
• Personally write and review code across critical system components
• Make architecture and build-vs-buy decisions based on speed, scalability, security, and business value
• Establish engineering best practices including:
  • CI/CD
  • Code review
  • Secure coding
  • Documentation
  • Testing standards
• Mentor and elevate a growing engineering team while remaining highly technical and hands-on
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders

We are seeking a highly technical architect who has successfully shipped real software products to external users.

• 8+ years of software engineering or software architecture experience, including Salesforce
• Strong hands-on coding background with 2+ production programming languages

  • Python
  • Node.js considered an asset
  • Apex
  • Experience Cloud
  • Salesforce integrations
  • REST APIs
  • Platform Events
• Experience designing and building customer-facing digital experiences
• Strong front-end experience with:
  • React
  • Type Script
  • Responsive web applications
• Strong backend architecture experience
• Experience with Azure cloud services
  , including exposure to services such as:
  • API Management
  • Storage
• Experience building scalable distributed systems and integrations
• Strong understanding of:
  • APIs
  • Messaging
  • Reliability
  • Performance optimization
• Strong experience with:
  • Git
  • CI/CD
  • Dev Ops workflows
  • Documentation

• Financial services, lending, insurance, or regulated industry experience
• Experience building customer portals, broker portals, lending platforms, or digital onboarding experiences
  • Copilot-style workflows
• Power BI or analytics exposure
• Experience with in Fin Tech, Insur Tech, Lending, Credit, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Customer Financial Platforms
