You will work in an agile software development environment, developing quality and scalable software solutions using leading‑edge technologies. You will develop code consistent with quality standards, support testing cycles and post‑production deployment, use appropriate tools to test and debug code, and participate in peer code reviews. You will join a cohort of new hires, going through training to learn about the company, tools, processes, and technical skills needed to succeed.
- Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- iOS: Swift, Xcode, MVC Architecture
- Android: Java, Android Studio, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java Web Services
- Web: Angular (latest version), Eclipse, Java, JSP, Type Script, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
- Engineering Excellence practices: Minimum Development Standards and Minimum Operational standards set and followed at Citi
- Design & architecture: Microservices, APIs, Spring Core/MVC/Boot/Cloud, REST and so on
- CI/CD: JIRA, Zephry, Bit Bucket, Team City, uDeploy, Artifactory, Openshift, ECS/Docker
- Event streaming/messaging: Kafka or similar technology
- Containers:
Docker/Kubernetes
- Final year of university studies (graduation 2026)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Legal authorization to work in Hungary
- Basic understanding of programming languages (C++, Java, etc.), application development, and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (preferred for that track)
- Problem‑solving mindset and innovation drive
- Global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones
- Excellent communication, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass technical interviews with basic algorithmic programming exercises
