Senior & AI Engineer - at tier hedge fund NY

We have three Senior / Staff AI Engineer positions open - to build and deploy production AI systems that accelerate research, trading, and operational workflows across the firm. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on LLMs, agentic systems, retrieval, and AI infrastructure at scale.

Base up to 350k + bonuses

• Build AI agents, copilots, and research automation systems
• Design and deploy RAG, workflow orchestration, and agent frameworks
• Develop scalable AI infrastructure and evaluation systems
• Partner directly with researchers, traders, and leadership
• Own projects end‑to‑end from idea to production

• 4–12+ years of software engineering or AI engineering experience
• Strong Computer Science degree from a top university
• Experience at high‑growth AI startups (Seed → Series F preferred)
• Proven track record shipping AI products used in production
• Senior, Staff, or Founding Engineer caliber

• Production experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, and modern AI frameworks
• Experience building distributed systems and scalable backend services
• Strong product ownership and startup mindset
• Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
