Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with a focus on fintech to join our dynamic technology team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions within the financial technology sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Java technologies and a passion for creating robust, efficient applications that drive business success in fintech.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust Java-based applications, with a focus on fintech solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to define and deliver new features for financial products.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards relevant to the fintech industry.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, identify potential issues, and share knowledge, particularly concerning financial application development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability for financial trading or processing applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance of fintech-related software.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, specifically enhancing our fintech platform capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven professional experience as a Java Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects, preferably in the fintech domain.
- Proficiency in Java and its core libraries, along with experience in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or similar, applied to financial systems.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns, with experience in building secure financial applications.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and No
SQL databases, common in fintech environments. - Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines for financial software deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with an understanding of financial regulations and security best practices.
