- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 1 year of experience with one or more of the following:
Speech/audio (technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field. - 1 year of experience in security engineering, or in secure software development practices, vulnerability analysis, or infrastructure security basics.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Responsibilities- Architect and scale robust, secure platforms that automate security checks across Google Cloud’s developer pipeline and production systems.
- Design, optimize, and evaluate AI-driven security capabilities, leading the identification of AI opportunities across Cloud Cyber Security Engineering (CCSE); including coding.
- Establish engineering and security standards for large-scale distributed systems, ensuring robust end-to-end security.
- Analyze and distill complex technical and security data to drive key organizational decisions and roadmap prioritization.
- Provide technical leadership for multiple teams, vet system designs, and mentor senior engineers to help them grow into technical leaders.
