  • Analyze functional and non‑functional requirements, technical designs, architecture, code, and translate requirements into test cases.
  • Identify defects and drive them to resolution while keeping a user‑centric perspective.
  • Participate in and improve the entire lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to design verification test plans and regression test suites.
  • Produce regular reports on the status and quality of software releases and communicate findings to all levels of audience.
  • Assess the quality, usability, and functionality of each release.
  • Develop and organize QA processes for assigned projects to align with overall QA goals.
  • Lead and train a dynamic team of colleagues in testing processes.
  • Maintain an understanding of QA best practices related to interactive technologies.
  • Design and implement test automation strategy for multiple product development teams at project onset.
  • Lead efforts for related automation projects, design, and code reviews.
  • Work with cross‑functional engineering scrum teams to provide input into automation framework design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Quality Engineering, IT, and Product Operations leaders to create and implement processes that accelerate delivery of new features and products with high quality at scale.
  • Contribute to a culture of high performance, transparency, and continuous improvement within infrastructure services and development pipeline streamlining.
  • Provide guidance, support, and clear priorities to a diverse global team of engineers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years of quality engineering experience.
  • Excellent experience with data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including designing and executing tests for source‑to‑target mapping and data validation.
  • Experience working on cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands‑on experience with large‑scale data storage, workflow orchestration, data integration jobs, and data processing tools.
  • Experience working with relational and non‑relational databases.
  • Hands‑on experience with scripting languages and a framework for data quality test automation.
  • API testing experience—knowledge of RESTful design and best practices, and hands‑on testing of APIs with and without automation tools.
  • Experience with performance testing and tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least two leading testing tools/frameworks, including those used for UI automation and API testing.
  • Experience with data integration, data profiling, and data cataloging is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar issue/bug tracking systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development organization with Scrum‑based methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to think abstractly and challenge norms.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Benefits
  • Base salary range: $69,661 to $120,000, with final compensation based on location and qualifications.
  • Annual incentive plan.
  • Additional S&P Global benefits; see  for details.
