Senior Implementations
Senior Implementations at Chariot will be responsible for leading the technical onboarding of our most important nonprofit partners onto a fast growing payments product. You’ll be at the center of customer success, technical delivery, and product feedback. This isn’t just about getting nonprofits live. It’s about learning what’s working, identifying what’s not, and helping Chariot build better product.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker, execution focused, and product minded. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between nonprofits usage and internal product development, making each launch smoother than the one before and every implementation a driver for building a more intuitive product.
Responsibilities- Lead successful technical implementations for new nonprofit customers, managing timelines, setup, and go live
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact during onboarding – answering questions, solving problems, and ensuring a high level of trust with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Travel expected: 30%+ to be onsite with nonprofit customers and partners
- Reduce time-to-value by improving launch velocity and onboarding workflows
- Identify friction points during implementation and translate those into product insights – driving roadmap, tooling, and UX improvements
- Collaborate with engineers to build scalable internal tools and automations that reduce manual work and improve consistency across implementations
- Build out internal playbooks, templates, and reusable assets that enable faster and more reliable customer onboarding
- Partner with sales, product, and growth to tighten the post‑sale handoff and maximize nonprofit success
- 5+ years of experience in technical onboarding, solutions engineering, implementation, or related roles
- Strong project management skills – you can juggle multiple launches, keep timelines tight, and never drop the ball
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, or data pipelines. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable troubleshooting, configuring, and speaking code when needed
- Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and able to chat with technical and non‑technical folks
- You have a product mindset – you want to improve what you’re working on, not just deliver it
- Strong sense of ownership – you treat each customer’s success like your own and always follow through
- Empathetic and user‑focused – you want nonprofits to thrive and know how to balance their needs with technical feasibility
- Experience in fintech, payments, or the nonprofit sector is a plus
