The AI Acceleration team, part of Citi’s AI organization, is a small, global team dedicated to building innovative solutions for the wider bank. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge AI solutions and development within a dynamic technical environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full‑Stack Developer with strong Python skills (or Java with willingness to learn). The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, innovative, and collaborative, contributing to critical projects that advance Citi’s AI and data strategy.

• User Experience Focus: Design and build intuitive, easy‑to‑use platform capabilities for a diverse end‑user audience across the firm.
• AI‑Powered UI Interoperability: Drive vision and implementation of AI to enhance user interface interactions and workflows.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and manage technical components within the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Software Development: Develop, implement, and maintain high‑quality code using OOP principles in Java, Python, or Golang.
• CI/CD & Dev Ops: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems and bugs efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with teammates on shared components and codebases.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure software quality through rigorous code reviews, technical design reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

• Experience: Proven experience as a senior full‑stack software engineer with passion for modern development (Python).
• Front‑End Expertise: Proficiency in Type Script and React.js, HTML, CSS.
• Containerization & Cloud: Demonstrated experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Open Shift.
• Architecture: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message queuing systems.
• Development Principles: Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming: Proficient in at least one object‑oriented programming language (Java, Python).
• Fundamentals: Strong grasp of networking, databases, and CLI.
• Code Quality: Passion for clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where requirements may evolve.
