An Associate, Software Development Engineer contributes to Publicis Sapient engagements by creating units of defect‑free code modules that meet the business and technical requirements during Enterprise Architecture Release (EAR), Implementation and Manage phases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business:
- Understand client business and domain; identify opportunities for digital transformation.
- Identify technology enablers to extend client business ecosystem.
- Work with the architect for technology evaluation and solution.
- Provide quick POCs for benchmarking solutions that are competitive, easy to develop, scalable, and cost‑effective.
- Collaborate with the architect to address all aspects of the solution (architecture, provisioning, networking, estimation, and planning).
- Map client requirements to API contracts and documentation, including mocked responses.
- Explore and apply innovative solutions to enhance existing systems.
- Build boilerplate code, templates, and accelerators for faster delivery and predictable quality.
- Roll out white papers, POVs, reference implementations, and conduct seminars to share knowledge.
- Enable Potential

- Manage learning curves for self and others.

- Create a fair ground for everyone to contribute and challenge.
- A polyglot full‑life‑cycle engineer capable of managing the entire product lifecycle independently:
- Requirement:
Understand requirements to map to service contracts. - Design:
Experience in high‑level and low‑level design. - Implementation:
End‑to‑end implementation, reviews, and code‑quality tooling. - Dev Ops:
Hands‑on Dev Ops experience. - Testing:
Unit testing and subsequent testing phases. - Productization:
Experience in production releases and troubleshooting.

Development
Skills:
- REST‑based services design and implementation (Node.js, Java Spring, React, Golang).
- Experience with any messaging system (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ).
- Experience with event‑driven architecture.
Dev Ops and Monitoring
Skills:
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git Lab, Terraform, and Docker.
- Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Splunk, Kiali, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, others).
- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, others) for application deployment and development cycles.
Advance API Skills (good to have):
- Experience with API gateway products (APIGEE, API Connect, Kong, Mule, AWS API Manager, Azure APIM, others).
- Experience with GraphQL.
- GRPC standards.
Database
Skills:
- No
SQL and/or SQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, others).

- 5.5–10 years of experience.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
- Understanding of database management systems (SQL, No
SQL). - Certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks.
Salary Range: $107,000 – $150,000
