Founding Engineer

Fleetline writes optimization algorithms for large trucking companies; after a recent spike in contracted customers, we are now expanding the team and looking for founding engineers.

• Booked out for the next 5 months by enterprise trucking fleets.
• Lean, welcoming, and dedicated founding team — expectation for every person in the company is to genuinely care about the vision and each other.
• Backed by a large seed round from top investors like Box Group, Base
  10, and more.

• Looking for generalists who are willing to do any task technically to push the team forward (from long-term product vision to integration work)
• Ideally comfortable with being forward deployed — ie, enjoy talking to clients, figuring out their pain points and priorities, and then using that information to solve their problems.
• Ships code fast and often; is not a perfectionist
• Is an extremely hard worker when they are in a strong team environment and working on a vision they care about
• Has experience at top start ups or big tech companies, or is an ex‑founder/founding engineer, or someone who obsesses over side projects (deployed and live, ideally).
• Comfortable with Python/Typescript

Pedigree is generally not important — just looking for people who are grinders, intelligent, and are good at moving quickly.
