Frontend UI Engineer; Quant Trading

Salary/Total Compensation: very open - based on expectations, performance and seniority

We're partnered with a top-tier quant trading firm to hire a Frontend UI Engineer into their Equities Engineering team.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role embedded within a product-obsessed engineering team that builds the applications and tools powering their world-class Fundamental Equities business.

Rare opportunity to own the full UI surface area for a segment of the investor workflow, working directly with trading, portfolio management, and research teams - areas include:

Tech stack: React, Type Script — with a strong emphasis on front-end architecture, state management, and performance at scale.

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

• 3+ years of professional SWE experience with strong React/Type Script proficiency
• A track record of shipping production-grade, data-driven UIs
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture, component design, and performance optimisation
• A product mindset — you care about user experience and commercial impact, not just clean code
• CS degree or equivalent STEM background

This isn't a feature-heavy role - you'll have real commercial accountability and close proximity to the business.
