Position: C++ Developer - High-Frequency Trading
Location: New York

Salary is 250k to 350k + bonus. 2 days remote and 3 days onsite.

Seeking a highly skilled C++ Engineer to help build and enhance mission-critical trading infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex performance challenges and developing systems where speed, reliability, and efficiency are paramount.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and enhance low-latency trading platforms using modern C++.
  • Build scalable components supporting market data processing, order routing, execution, and risk controls.
  • Improve application performance through advanced optimization techniques across CPU, memory, and threading models.
  • Design and maintain connectivity solutions for trading venues and market data feeds.
  • Work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
  • Analyze, benchmark, troubleshoot, and tune production systems to reduce latency and improve throughput.
  • Contribute to the stability and resiliency of real-time trading environments.
What We’re Looking For
  • Advanced experience developing software in modern C++ (C++17 and newer).
  • Strong background in performance-sensitive, low-latency applications.
  • Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and network programming.
  • Experience developing and tuning applications in Linux environments.
  • Track record of building highly available, real-time systems handling large volumes of data and transactions.
  • Previous exposure to electronic trading platforms within financial markets or digital asset environments.
Preferred Background
  • Experience working within quantitative trading, market-making, hedge fund, proprietary trading, or exchange environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for performance optimization.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced environments where engineering excellence directly impacts business outcomes.
