Software Engineer, Front End Developer, .NET Developer

A financial technology firm is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain high-performance trading user interfaces. This role sits within a core development team and partners closely with traders, researchers, and engineering teams to deliver real-time tools used in live market environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Strong C# experience is required.
• Must have experience building high-performance desktop user interfaces using Win Forms or WPF.
• Must have experience with Core .NET frameworks and desktop application development.
• Must be comfortable working on real-time, performance-sensitive systems.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and business users.

• Build and maintain live trading interfaces used by traders and researchers.
• Develop custom UI features that improve visualization of real-time trading data.
• Improve capacity, responsiveness, and performance of C# software components.
• Support desktop-based applications using .NET and UI frameworks.
• Manage multiple engineering priorities in a fast-moving front-office environment.
• Collaborate across trading, research, and development teams.
• Contribute to technical quality through clean design, testing, and performance optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline.
• Experience delivering multi-threaded, high-performance user interfaces in C#.
• Hands-on experience with Win Forms or WPF.
• Experience with desktop application frameworks such as Dev Express, Telerik UI, Syncfusion, or similar tools.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a highly visible engineering role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of trading systems, market structure, equities, options, or other asset classes.
• Experience with .NET memory profiling, performance profiling, or optimization tools.
• Prior experience in financial technology, trading, or front-office engineering environments.
