What We Look For
  • Experienced Software Engineers 6+ years of experience with one of the following technologies - Java, Python, C++ or C#
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization for enterprise‑grade applications.
  • Experience driving the adoption of AI‑assisted engineering practices and evaluating emerging technologies to improve developer productivity and product innovation.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD, unit testing framework and automation (testing/deployment) in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Curiosity about AI and a strong interest in how emerging technologies can be applied to solve complex software engineering problems.
  • Prior Financial Services or Big Tech experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering and related field or relevant experience
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies across the full stack
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross‑functional teams across multiple regions and timezones

Compensation/Benefits Information

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $129,700 - $216,100. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage.

Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part‑time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of:
