RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a Service Now Developer PSDS. This role is responsible for building scalable, reusable components, automation workflows, and accelerator packages that enable rapid deployment of PSDS solutions. The consultant will work closely with architects and business process consultants to help deliver-implementation-ready- solutions that compress timelines to ~100 days.
Duties:
* Configure forms, workflows, service catalogs, and portals aligned to PSDS use cases
* Optimize workflows to reduce manual intervention and processing time
* Contribute to automation packages and
-implementation-in-a-box- solutions
* Ensure consistency across implementations through standardization and reuse
* Develop and maintain integrations with external systems: government systems, ERP, HRIS, and legacy platforms
* Support data exchange, synchronization, and event-driven workflows
* Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability
* Support import sets, transform maps, and data normalization
Configure and develop Service Now solutions across PSDS-related modules:
* Case Management/Citizen Services
* CSM/CRM
* HRSD and employee workflows
Build and maintain:
* Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts
* UI Policies, UI Actions, Catalog Items
Develop automated workflows using:
* Flow Designer
* Workflow Editor/Orchestration
Implement:
* Case routing and assignment logic
* Approval processes and escalations
* End-to-end service delivery workflows
Build reusable code assets and components that support PSDS accelerator frameworks:
* Pre-configured workflows
* Standard case models
* Reusable service catalog items
Utilize:
* REST/SOAP APIs
* Integration Hub and MID Server
Configure and maintain:
* Tables, fields, and relationships
* CMDB and data structures aligned to CSDM
REQUIREMENTS:
* Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
* Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
* Service Now Implementation Specialist (preferred - CSM, HRSD, or PSDS-aligned)
* 5-8+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience
* Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and Integration Hub
* Strong understanding of Service Now data model, CMDB, and platform architecture
* Experience working on PSDS or public sector implementations preferred
Strong expertise in:
* JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting)
* Service Now configuration and customization
Experience developing with:
* Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts
* Flow Designer/Workflow
* Service Catalog and portal development
Familiarity with:
* CSM/CRM or case management solutions
* HRSD or employee workflows
Experience building:
* Reusable components or accelerators
* Automation-heavy Service Now solutions
Exposure to:
* AI features (Now Assist, Virtual Agent, predictive models)
* Dev Ops pipelines and CI/CD (Git, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
What Success Looks Like:
* Delivery of high-quality, reusable Service Now components
* Contribution to PSDS accelerator frameworks and automation packages
* Reduced deployment timelines toward ~100-day implementations
* Reliable, scalable, and secure workflow automation solutions
* Strong collaboration with architecture and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
