Java Developer; J2EE

Position: Java Developer (J2EE and Spring)
Location: New York

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Java Developer (J2EE and Spring) for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY.

Responsibilities :

• Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Required Skills:

• J2EE Spring framework including Spring integration, Spring Batch.
• Oracle database experience.
• 4+ years of experience working in the Financial Services industry .
• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
