DataArchitecttoleadthedesignanddeliveryofscalable,secure,andhigh-performancedatasolutions.
Thisisasenior,client-facingrolewithend-to-endownershipofenterpriseleveldataarchitectureinahigh-impactenvironment.
Theclientislookingforsomeonewithstronginterpersonalskills,whocancommunicateandarticulatethemselveswellwithstakeholdersandisstrongtechnically.
Responsibilities- Ownanddrivethedataarchitecturemodels
- DesignreusablearchitecturepatternssuchasCDCingestion,SCDhandling,lakehouse/warehouselayers,andmedallionarchitectures
- ArchitectandoptimizescalableETL/ELTandingestionframeworksforend-to-enddataintegrationandtransformation
- Buildandenhancedatawarehouseanddatamartarchitecturesforanalyticsandreporting,withastrongfocusonperformancetuning(partitioning,clustering,indexing,query optimization)
- Ensurestrongdatagovernanceincludingdataquality,lineage,metadatamanagement,andsecureaccesscontrols(RBAC,encryption,datamasking)
- Leadarchitecturereviews,drivetechnicaldecisions,andcreate/maintaindocumentation(architecturediagrams,ERDs,dataflows,integrationspecifications)
- Collaboratecloselywithbusinessstakeholders,data engineering,cloud,andBIteamstotranslaterequirementsintorobust,scalablesolutions
- Actasaclient-facingarchitecturalleader,owningdeliveryandoutcomesacrosscomplex,enterprise-scaleinitiatives
- 8+yearsofexperienceindataarchitectureand/ordataengineeringwithstrongarchitectureownership
- Deepexpertiseindatamodeling(3NF,Star Schema,Snowflake Schema,Dimensional Modeling)
- AdvancedSQLskillsandstrongdatabasedesignfundamentals
- Provenexperiencewithdatawarehousingconceptsandbestpractices
- Hands-onexperiencewithatleastonemodernclouddataplatform:
Snowflake,Databricks,Big Query,or Redshift - ExperiencewithETL/ELTtoolsandorchestrationframeworks
- Exposuretodatagovernancetools(e.g.,Collibra,Alation,Purview) isaplus
- ExperiencewithAPI-basedingestionorstreamingtechnologies(Kafka,Pub/Sub) isaplus
