Senior Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking
Senior Automation Engineer
to lead and contribute to the development of robust automation frameworks, drive automation strategy, and explore integration opportunities with
Generative AI (GenAI)solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
Java
,
Selenium
, and a strategic mindset to influence automation direction and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement
  test automation frameworks
  using Java and Selenium for web-based applications.
• Define and drive the
  overall automation strategy
  , including roadmap, tools, and process improvements.
• Evaluate, integrate, and implement
  Generative AI-based solutions
  to enhance test automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, Dev Ops, and product owners to ensure seamless automation integration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution and reporting.
• Troubleshoot test failures and work with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to the growth of automation capability within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in
  automation testing
  with strong expertise in
  Java and Selenium
  .
• Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end
  test automation strategies
  .
• Exposure to or experience working with
  Generative AI
  tools, frameworks, or LLMs (e.g., prompt-based automation, AI test generation).
• Solid understanding of
  CI/CD
  practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Bamboo).
• Experience with version control systems like
  Git
  and test reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-powered testing platforms (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, etc.).
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of performance or API testing is a plus (e.g., JMeter, REST Assured).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
