AI Platform Engineer

We're partnering with an innovative organization investing heavily in enterprise AI. As they continue to scale their AI capabilities, they're looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to build the core infrastructure, governance, and architectural foundations that will enable secure, scalable AI adoption across the business.

• Design and build the AI platform that supports enterprise‑wide AI initiatives.
• Develop secure AI governance, authentication, authorization, and access control frameworks.
• Create scalable data architectures and semantic layers that enable AI applications to consume data efficiently.
• Partner with engineering teams to define best practices for AI application architecture.
• Evaluate and implement modern AI technologies, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Build reliable workflow automations that integrate multiple enterprise systems.
• Drive technical standards and platform capabilities that enable other engineers to build AI solutions safely and effectively.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with recent hands‑on experience building production AI systems.
• Strong background in platform engineering, distributed systems, or backend architecture.
• Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, MCP, or modern AI frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, security, and platform governance.
• Experience designing data models, semantic layers, and working with SQL.
• Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects from design through production.
