Senior Java Developer

As part of the Technology organization, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of enterprise applications that drive critical business functions. This role requires a hands‑on Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting to build scalable, high‑performing applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment. You will play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java‑based enterprise applications.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and well‑documented code following software engineering best practices.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, deployment, batch processing, and system monitoring.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Dev Ops, and Application Production Support teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Support production deployments and ongoing application maintenance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications using Java 8 or later
  .
• 5+ years of experience developing with Oracle PL/SQL
  , including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Strong experience with Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or similar) for automation and batch processing.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
• Experience using Git Hub or other distributed version control systems.
• Hands‑on experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment.

• Experience with the Spring Framework
