Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced, motivated Jr. Mobile Application Developer to join our NY team! The engineer will help create innovative mobile applications that positively impact our users and business. Responsibilities include design, development, and maintenance of hybrid mobile applications using Flutter.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and developing a set of processes, best practices, standards, and tool base for a mobile application using Flutter.
- Code refactoring to optimize performance.
- Collaborating closely with different teams to translate user and business needs into functional frontend code.
- Participating in the design and implementation of an innovative product.
- Improving features by providing feedback from engineering and end‑user perspectives.
- Collaborating with other engineering teams to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
- Constantly evaluating and improving our systems' efficiency, scalability, and stability.
- Experience in Flutter development.
- Experience with hybrid mobile frameworks such as React Native, Ionic, etc.
- Good understanding of mobile device hardware capabilities and limitations.
- Expert knowledge of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and mobile application development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years overall experience (1+ in iOS/Android/Web).
- Fluent in Flutter or a positive attitude toward learning it.
- Understanding of frontend frameworks (beyond just using libraries).
- Experience handling traditional media like photos or movies (optional).
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a startup environment.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to write robust, maintainable, and reliable code.
- Full‑time position.
- Salary range: $80,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
