Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for architecting, developing, and owning the Addressability component of the Zeta Marketing Platform. The role focuses on real‑time systems for identity and data processing and requires collaboration across engineering, product management, and executive teams.

This is a hybrid role based in the London, UK office.

• Building, refining, tuning, and maintaining real‑time infrastructure
• Designing, developing, and maintaining services for data collection and real‑time data processing
• Working with Product Managers to design and build data products
• Collaborating with Dev Ops to scale and optimize infrastructure
• Participating in architecture discussions, influencing the roadmap, and taking ownership of new projects
• Participating in on‑call rotation (available by phone or email if issues arise)

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (or a related field) where English was the primary language of instruction
• 2+ years of experience with Scala/Java
• Proficiency with relational and No

• Experience with container‑based solutions
• Experience with libraries such as ZIO, Akka, Play Framework
• Experience with AWS at scale
• Experience with Terraform
• Long‑term experience and enthusiasm for distributed data processing at scale
• Expertise in designing low‑latency, scalable distributed solutions in the cloud
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception to production and monitoring
• Experience in the advertising attribution domain (plus)
• Experience with agile software development processes
